The RCMP has started interviewing staff who currently work or have worked in the office of Premier Doug Ford as part of its investigation into the Greenbelt land swaps, the government says.
As first reported by the Toronto Star, Ford's office confirmed interviews begun on Friday.
“We’ve always said we would cooperate. That cooperation would include the premier and current or former staff conducting interviews as witnesses, which are currently underway. Any further questions should be directed to the RCMP," a Ford spokesperson said.
